Synopsis

Fourteen-year-old Iruma Suzuki's life is basically terrible. His parents are selfish and lazy, constantly forcing him into dangerous situations because he can't bring himself to refuse them. Everything changes when his parents sell him to Sullivan, a powerful demon, in exchange for money. Iruma expects the worst, but Sullivan surprisingly just wants to be his grandfather and actually take care of him. Sullivan enrolls Iruma in Babyls, a school for demons. The main problem? Iruma's human, and if anyone finds out, he's done for. Keeping his head down seems like the safest strategy. But as he settles in, Iruma starts realizing he's not quite a normal human after all—and the demons around him might have more going on than they're letting on.
