Jonathan grew up in New York City, where he developed an early talent for mimicking the sounds and voices around him. By eleven, he was already performing in school plays and musicals, and a couple years later discovered he had a natural ear for piano—he could play classical pieces and learn songs by ear without ever reading sheet music.

High school brought him recognition with awards in vocal music, drama, and theater workshop. In college, he pursued broadcasting as a major and worked at both the campus alternative rock and NPR stations, which gave him solid grounding in the technical side of audio production.

After college, he spent four years in Atlanta building up his skills and portfolio before making the move to Los Angeles to pursue voiceover work for animation and film—the thing he'd always wanted to do. He's now an established voice actor based in LA, drawing on his background in stage, radio, and that lifelong ability to nail any sound or voice he hears.
