Kazuhiro Fujita is a Japanese manga artist best known for Ushio & Tora, the supernatural action series that earned him the Shogakukan Manga Award for shōnen in 1992 and the Seiun Award a few years later. He's also created the long-running Karakuri Circus, which has solidified his reputation as a major figure in manga.
Fujita graduated from Nihon University and launched his professional career in Weekly Shōnen Sunday back in 1989. His early success with Ushio & Tora established the kind of inventive, character-driven storytelling that would define his work going forward.
