DOES is a three-piece Japanese rock band from Fukuoka that got their start in 2000. They built up a local following through the mid-2000s before some lineup changes forced them to step back in 2005. The group resurged with a record deal at Ki/oon Records in 2006 and began releasing singles that same year. Their biggest chart moment came in 2008 when "Donten," their 6th single, hit number 3 on the Oricon weekly rankings. The band went on indefinite hiatus in September 2016.
