Hiroshi Negishi is an anime director who started out at Toei Animation before moving through Tatsunoko Production and AIC. He's been a studio founder multiple times—first Zero-G Room in 1991, then Radix in 1995. The two merged in 2001 with Radix as the surviving entity, though Negishi revived the Zero-G brand a decade later in 2011.
In 2014, he established Animation Innovation Content Project (AIC Project), which licensed the AIC name but operates independently from the original studio. The following year, AIC Project acquired the Saber Marionette IP and announced a new anime in development for 2016—though what ultimately happened to that project remains unclear. By May 2016, the company rebranded entirely as Saber Project.
