Masayoshi Ooishi is a Japanese singer-songwriter and guitarist best known as the lead vocalist and guitarist for Sound Schedule (サウスケ/Sausuke), a three-piece band that blends J-pop, rock, and jazz influences.
The band formed back in 1999, but they hit pause in 2006. During that break, Ooishi launched a solo career, debuting in 2008 before the group eventually reunited in 2011. Since then, Sound Schedule has remained active alongside his solo work.
