He kicked off his career in November 1994 as part of a trio called STRAGGER. A few years later, he put out a solo album in 1998, then landed his big break the following year when "We Are!"—the opening theme for One Piece—became his debut as an anime song vocalist. That was November 1999, and he was riding high enough to join Lapis Lazuli right after, before the year was out.
The real turning point came in August 2002 when he became a core member of JAM Project, the collective behind some of anime's most iconic theme songs. He's been a fixture there ever since, still active today.
