V6 was a six-member Japanese boy band formed by Johnny & Associates in 1995. The group was split into two subunits based on age: the 20th Century (the three older members—Masayuki Sakamoto, Hiroshi Nagano, and Yoshihiko Inohara) and Coming Century (the three younger ones—Go Morita, Ken Miyake, and Junichi Okada).
The group disbanded on November 1, 2021, after 25 years together. Go Morita's decision to leave Johnny & Associates ultimately led to V6's disbandment.
