Kenji Yamamoto is a Japanese composer and arranger best known for his work on Dragon Ball video game soundtracks throughout the 1980s, 90s, and 2000s. He's also composed opening and closing themes for various anime and tokusatsu projects, as well as other video game scores.
His career took a significant hit in 2011 when Toei Animation revealed that many of his compositions for the Dragon Ball series had infringed on third-party copyrights. The studio subsequently removed him from Dragon Ball Kai, reverting to Shunsuke Kikuchi's original Dragon Ball Z soundtrack instead.
Note: Not to be confused with Kenji Yamamoto, a manga artist.
