Arnaud Romain was a French voice actor, musician, and author who passed away at 53 in mid-July 2022. Mediapart broke the news publicly on July 18, revealing that he'd been battling a serious illness for months that ultimately affected his cognitive health and forced him to step back from voice work.

He's best known for voicing Oluo Bozado in Attack on Titan, a role he managed to complete entirely since the character's arc wrapped up during season 1 and the recap film. His second major role in the series—Nile Dok—proved harder to continue. Due to his declining condition, he couldn't return to the role for season 3, and Antoine Tomé took over the part.
