A Japanese video game writer best known for his work on some of Square Enix's biggest franchises. Nojima penned the stories for multiple Final Fantasy games, including VII (and its spin-offs Advent Children and Crisis Core), VIII, and X with its sequel X-2. He's also behind the Kingdom Hearts series and the Glory of Heracles games, plus he wrote the story for the Subspace Emissary mode in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
Beyond just narrative, Nojima has contributed musically too—he wrote the original lyrics for Final Fantasy VIII's "Liberi Fatali" and crafted the lyrics for "Suteki da Ne" and the "Hymn of the Fayth" from Final Fantasy X. He founded his own company, Stellavista Ltd., and continues to be a major figure in video game writing.
