Hailee Steinfeld is an American actress and singer who broke through in a major way with the 2010 western True Grit, landing her Oscar, BAFTA, and SAG nominations for Best Supporting Actress right out of the gate.

She quickly became a mainstream name through a string of early-2010s films: Ender's Game, Romeo & Juliet, Begin Again, and 3 Days to Kill. But it's really the Pitch Perfect trilogy (2015–2017) and The Edge of Seventeen (2016) that cemented her as a serious talent—the latter earned her Golden Globe and Critics' Choice nominations and showed she could carry a whole film as the lead.

Steinfeld's built a solid voice acting portfolio too. She voiced Gwen Stacy/Spider-Woman in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018) and is probably best known by gamers as Vi in Netflix's Arcane (2021–present), the League of Legends adaptation that became a massive hit. She also played Charlie Watson in Transformers: Bumblebee (2018) and took on Emily Dickinson in Apple TV+'s Dickinson (2019–2021), a role that let her show off her comedic timing.

More recently, she joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Kate Bishop/Hawkeye in the 2021 Disney+ series Hawkeye.
