Katou Hiroshi is an art director and supervisor best known for his background art work across various anime productions. He spent a long stretch with Bihou before moving on in 2007 to lead the background art department at Totonyan. These days he's part of the production collective Neko-Nanban-Tei alongside director Watanabe Takashi and his wife, animator Miyata Naomi.
