22/7 (Nanabun no Nijuuni) is an idol group under the direction of Yasushi Akimoto, the legendary producer behind AKB48.
The group currently consists of eight members: Sally Amaki, Uta Kawase, and six members who joined in March 2022—Nao Aikawa, Mao Asaoka, Satsuki Shiina, Luna Shijou, Emma Tsukishiro, and Rino Mochizuki.
The group has seen considerable turnover over the years. Early departures included Mei Hanakawa (December 2019) and Chiharu Hokaze (February 2021). Several members left and went on to pursue other careers under different names, including Urara Takatsuji, who became Urara Hinaga; Ruri Umino, now Ruri Yoshimiya; and Mizuha Kuraoka, now Riko Kuramaru. Aina Takeda took a hiatus from December 2020 to April 2021 before ultimately leaving in December 2021.
More recent departures came from the 2022 wave of recruits. Oto Amaya left in August 2023 due to academic commitments and family health concerns, while Mina Kiyoi departed in November 2023 for health reasons. Additionally, Reina Miyase left in May 2023 and later became known as Ui Sakura; Kanae Shirosawa left in July 2023; Moe Suzuhana departed at the end of August 2024; and Nagomi Saijou left at the end of August 2025.
