Yuri Ehara started at ufotable almost by accident—she was initially just applying for part-time work at their Machi Asobi Cafe when she got tapped to voice Chiwa in the studio's original project "Ohenro" back in 2014, no audition needed. After relocating to Tokyo in 2016, she trained in voice acting and stage performance at Mouse Promotion before officially joining ufotable's staff that same year, where she's stayed ever since. Despite being locked in as studio staff, she still pops into ufotable's cafes and restaurants to lend a hand when she can.
Beyond that, Ehara led the voice actress idol group Guil Drops from their formation in 2018 until the group wrapped up in September 2024.
