EGOIST was a Japanese J-pop unit built around vocalist chelly and supercell's composer Ryo. The project became best known for its work on Guilty Crown, where chelly provided Inori's singing voice (though she didn't voice act the character itself).
Chelly was selected for the role after competing in supercell's 2011 audition, which drew around 2,000 applicants. She went on to become the group's lead vocalist while Ryo handled composition, lyrics, and production duties.
The group called it quits in October 2023 with a series of farewell concerts. Since June 2021, chelly has been performing under the stage name reche.
