Oomori Hidetoshi is a longtime animator, director, and storyboarder best known for his work supervising animation on classic mecha shows like Zeta Gundam and Char's Counterattack. He made his directorial debut in 1987 with the Robot Carnival short Deprive, which earned praise for its stylish 80s action sequences and distinctly weird character design work.
He spent time at Sunrise before going freelance, and now works with Studio Pastoral.
