Adachitoka

Adachitoka is a mangaka duo made up of two women who split their work pretty clearly: one handles characters while the other does backgrounds. Their name literally comes from combining both their names.

Adachi (安達) draws the foreground characters and is the face people tend to recognize with the pair's character designs. She was born December 14 in Murayama, Yamagata Prefecture.

Tokashiki (渡嘉敷) handles backgrounds and environments. She was born November 28 in Naha, Okinawa Prefecture.

The two have collaborated successfully for years, with their distinctive art style becoming pretty recognizable across their works. Fans appreciate how clean their character work is and how well the two halves of their partnership complement each other.
