A Japanese actor, voice actor, and singer best known for playing Ryo Shishido in the Prince of Tennis musicals. He's also fronted the rock band Cocoa Otoko as leader and vocalist—they debuted in 2010 but didn't last long.
He had a health setback in April 2007 when he was hospitalized and had to sit out some major commitments, including a role in Musical Air Gear vs. Bacchus Super Range Remix and an appearance at Dream Live 4 ~Extra~. By early 2008, he'd fully recovered and was back to work, as he shared with fans on his blog at the time.
