Kano is best known for her soft, delicate voice and her covers of Vocaloid and anime songs, which she regularly posts online. She's become increasingly popular over the years, though she's recently expanded beyond covers—in 2015, she signed with Warner Bros. Home Entertainment and made her major label debut performing "Stella-rium," the opening theme for the anime Houkago no Pleiades.
Beyond singing, Kano has also ventured into Vocaloid production, starting with "Toumei Ningen no Nihilism," and occasionally appears in music videos for songs like mato's "hollow" and Kemu's "Rokuchounen to Ichiya Monogatari."
Her breakout moment came with "Hello / How Are You," which dominated Nico Nico Douga's charts for a full week. Her videos have racked up over ten million views in total. Her first cover—an 8-bit arrange of "Ren'ai Circulation" from Bakemonogatari—went up in June 2010, and from there she's built a solid discography. She released her first doujin album, Bambino, in early 2011, featuring Vocaloid tracks, and has since put out seven albums total. She's also collaborated on EXIT TUNES' Kami Kyoku wo Utattemita series and a few PolyphonicBranch releases.
Her character design is illustrated by Mizu Tamago.
