When Hana Uzaki starts college, she runs into Shinichi Sakurai, an upperclassman from her high school club days. She's shocked to find that he's completely changed—he's now a total loner who just wants to be left alone in peace. Hana basically decides it's her mission to drag him out of his shell. She pesters him constantly, whether it's dragging him to movies or showing up at his part-time job. Sakurai thinks she's annoying and exhausting, but he goes along with it anyway. Her infectious energy inevitably gets them both into ridiculous situations. As time goes on, though, their dynamic actually improves. People start assuming they're dating, which neither of them really denies. Whenever Hana wants to hang out, chaos and cuteness are basically guaranteed to ensue.
