Synopsis

Haru Kaidou rushes to Canada after hearing his mother is dying, only to discover she's been lying and that he's now responsible for his adoptive brother Ren—a withdrawn kid who'd rather hang out with dogs than people. Getting through to Ren is tough at first, but they eventually bond, and Haru promises they'll live together in Japan once he finishes high school. Then an accident happens. Haru loses every memory of that summer, including the promise he made. Five years pass. Ren shows up in Tokyo expecting Haru to follow through—except Haru has no idea who he is.
