Synopsis

As a kid, Aoi Yukimura loved climbing mountains more than anything. Then a playground accident happened, and suddenly heights terrified her. She traded climbing for indoor hobbies and pretty much withdrew from the world. Now in her first year of high school, she's painfully shy and has basically no friends. Everything shifts when she bumps into Hinata Kuraue, an old climbing buddy from way back. Hinata's the complete opposite—bold, energetic, and totally determined to drag Aoi into climbing with her. Aoi's not thrilled at first, but being around Hinata stirs up all those good memories from their childhood days. Before long, she decides to give climbing another shot. Getting back into it ends up being exactly what she needs. As she pushes past her fear, she makes real friends, discovers new challenges, and finds reasons to keep going—both on the mountain and in life.
