Synopsis

Tokyo's sky isn't blue anymore. Instead, an alien mothership hangs overhead, a constant, oppressive presence that's become part of the landscape. Three years ago, the Invaders showed up and nearly ended the world. Japan threw everything at them—weapons, resources, soldiers. The government mobilized for total war, which obviously sparked a whole debate about pacifism and whether any of this was even winnable. The thing is, life went on. Kadode Koyama and Ouran Nakagawa are just high school girls trying to live normally in an abnormal world. School, friends, the usual stuff. Growing up feels almost rebellious when there's an alien warship above your head. But as they get older, they start seeing the real picture. Adults aren't the heroes fighting for humanity—they're liars and destroyers. And the actual threat to humanity? It's not the Invaders circling overhead. It's us.
