Synopsis

Baki Hanma is dying from poison left over from his previous fight, and things look pretty grim. Luckily, his friend Retsu Kaiou brings him to China where he learns about the Raitai Tournament—a legendary competition held every hundred years where the strongest martial artists in China duke it out for the title of best fighter in the country. Since it's now open to foreign competitors, Baki gets the chance to enter, and even better, the tournament supposedly holds a cure for his poisoning. The catch? His father, who calls himself the "Strongest Creature on Earth," is also competing. The second season follows Baki through this massive tournament and introduces him to Mohammad Alai Jr., a bizarre but incredibly skilled fighter.
