Synopsis

Five-year-old Shinnosuke "Shin-chan" Nohara is basically a walking disaster. He's obnoxious, crude, and completely shameless, constantly getting into weird situations—ditching friends during hide-and-seek, doing impromptu sumo matches, pulling his infamous "elephant" gag in public, and hitting on college girls. There's no limit to what this kid will do. Crayon Shin-chan follows Shin-chan and his crew, the self-styled "Kasukabe Defense Force," as they cause chaos wherever they go. The weird thing is, the adults around them can't actually stay mad at him. Sure, he's infuriating, but his ridiculous antics somehow end up solving everyone's problems—even when he's not trying. He's the only headache nobody knows how to fix.
