Synopsis

Demetrios is a vase painter in Ancient Greece who gets a lot of grief for being indecisive and falling apart under pressure. Then one day he gets struck by lightning and suddenly finds himself in Tokyo during the 1964 Summer Olympics. A local family takes him in without much fuss, chalking him up to just being a weird foreigner. But here's the thing—every time lightning zaps him back to Ancient Greece, he brings modern knowledge with him. As he keeps bouncing between the two time periods, Demetrios gradually becomes more confident, earns respect from his village, and actually starts standing up for himself. By the time everything clicks into place, he's ready to organize and compete in his own Olympic games back home.
