Asakichi
Asakichi is a retired professor living in twentieth-century Tokyo. He's best known for his unexpected friendship with Demetrios, a man who keeps mysteriously appearing in his life at random intervals. At first, Asakichi was genuinely confused by these sudden arrivals, but he eventually just accepted it as part of how things worked between them.
These days, he mostly helps Demetrios navigate Tokyo and figure out whatever problem dragged him there in the first place.
