Synopsis

Karasuno finally makes it to the Inter-High, but their first opponent is Date Tech—the same team that demolished them last year. The loss still stings, especially for the older players who couldn't figure out how to break through Date's notorious read block. Now, with promising freshmen Shouyou Hinata and Tobio Kageyama in the lineup, Karasuno gets a chance at redemption. Can they overcome their past trauma and finally take down the iron wall? If they manage that, they'll face Aoba Jousai next—a powerhouse school captained by the clever Tooru Oikawa. Since Oikawa and Kageyama went to the same middle school, there's serious history between them. Oikawa's a gifted, unpredictable setter with a chip on his shoulder about losing to his former teammate. The tournament comes down to a clash between two genius setters fighting for their shot at advancing.
