Synopsis

There's an urban legend at Shiomi Academy about a figure called the Shepherd who supposedly grants wishes to hardworking students. Kyoutarou Kakei, a second-year student and the de facto head of the Library Club, is reading in the school's famous Great Library when he gets an email from the Shepherd warning that something's about to change his life. Spooked by the message, he heads to a nearby train station where he spots fellow student Tsugumi Shirasaki about to get hit by a derailing train—and manages to pull her to safety. Grateful for the rescue, Tsugumi joins the Library Club and asks Kyoutarou to help her with a secret project called the Shiomi Happy Project. As new members join the club, the group works together to improve the school while trying to figure out who the Shepherd really is.
