Synopsis

You Keika's been dealt a rough hand—stuck working low-wage jobs just to scrape by. Then one day in a junkyard, he crosses paths with a white-haired stranger and gets killed in a freak accident. Next thing he knows, he's a ghost. The stranger turns out to be Tanmoku Ki, the 13th Youmeshi of the Tanmoki clan, basically the top exorcist family in China. Seeing You wandering around as a spirit, Tanmoku offers him a deal: he'll protect You from humans, and in exchange, You becomes his spirit shadow—basically a bodyguard who keeps him safe 24/7. What follows is a string of dangerous encounters with malevolent spirits. As they work together to protect the people around them, their master-servant relationship gradually transforms into something neither of them saw coming. The professional pact evolves into genuine affection, with admiration quietly building beneath the surface of their roles.
