Synopsis

Junjou Romantica High school student Misaki Takahashi walks in on his older brother with a stranger—who turns out to be Akihiko Usami, a famous novelist and his brother's best friend. When Akihiko becomes Misaki's tutor, things get complicated after Misaki discovers that Akihiko writes boys-love novels. Now he's unsure whether he can trust the guy around his brother. Meanwhile, university professor Hiroki Kamijou is dealing with a rough breakup. He meets Nowaki Kusama, a student who needs help studying, and despite initially refusing, Hiroki eventually agrees. As they spend time together, Nowaki's past gradually comes to light and their relationship deepens. Then there's Shinobu Takatsuki, a rich high school student with a one-sided crush. After his sister divorces You Miyagi, a teacher, Shinobu becomes fixated on You—partly because You once saved him from a robbery years ago. You tries to discourage him, but Shinobu's persistence starts to wear him down. The series follows these three interconnected couples as their relationships develop and evolve.
