Synopsis

Kanna refuses to abandon her friends for a transfer to another shrine, so she bolts in the middle of the night with her bodyguard Ryuuya and her trusted friend Uraha in tow. With their pursuers hot on their heels, the three set out searching for Kanna's mother—someone she's been desperate to reunite with after years apart. As they travel, the group gets a chance to explore the wider world beyond the palace walls, finding moments of peace even as they know trouble is catching up.
