Synopsis

It's U.C.0105, twelve years after Char's Rebellion. An anti-Federation resistance group called MAFTY has started taking out government officials through assassination. The group's leader is actually Hathaway Noa—son of Bright Noa, a veteran of the One Year War who fought alongside Amuro Ray. Everything gets complicated when Hathaway meets Gigi Andalusia, a girl with strange, unexplained powers who dredges up painful memories he'd rather forget. Her mysterious words unsettle him, but they don't stop him from moving forward with MAFTY's next operation: an air raid on the Adelaide Conference. It's a mission he's convinced will both serve the cause and let him finally put his past to rest. On the Federation side, military officer Kenneth Sleg is organizing the defense for the Adelaide Conference and planning a counterattack against MAFTY. Things get stranger when Handley Yoxon from the Criminal Police Organization approaches him with a secret proposal. As Hathaway and Kenneth both work toward their own goals—and Gigi heads to Hong Kong to play her part in whatever's coming—the pieces move into place for a major collision.
