Kenneth is a colonel in the Earth Federation Space Force who first crosses paths with Hathaway during a dramatic hijacking of a Federation shuttle—an incident that kicks off a close friendship between them. When Mafty makes off with the Ξ Gundam, Kenneth takes charge of assembling the Circe Unit to track them down.
What complicates things is that Kenneth eventually figures out Hathaway's leading the whole operation, but keeps it to himself instead of reporting it to Bright. After their clashes with Mafty wrap up, Kenneth steps back from active duty and retires from the military.
