Synopsis

Liko is a shy girl from the Paldea region who heads to Kanto to start her journey as a Pokémon trainer at the Indigo Academy. She catches Nyahoja, a moody Grass-type cat Pokémon, as her first partner. Before leaving home, her grandmother gives her a strange, shimmering pendant with an unusual pattern. It turns out this pendant is important—so important that a mysterious group called The Explorers tries to steal it from her. She's saved by Friede and his crew, the Rising Volt Tacklers, who travel around on a ship led by a trainer who rides a Charizard. After running into The Explorers a few times, Liko decides to stick with Friede's team. She joins them on their adventure across different regions, helping them investigate the mysteries of the Pokémon world while also trying to figure out what her pendant actually does.
