Synopsis

Harumi Kazuhito is a high school bookworm obsessed with novelist Natsuno Kirihime. One day he spots her at a cafe and, when a robber tries to shoot her, jumps in the way. He dies taking the bullet, but gets a second chance—sort of. Thanks to some book-worm supernatural magic, he's reincarnated as a dachshund. As a dog, Kazuhito's life is pretty miserable without books to read. Enter a sadistic woman with scissors who offers to help him out. Turns out it's Kirihime herself, and yeah, this is as weird as it sounds.
