Synopsis

Ryuuhei Oda watched his older brother die when he was a kid, and a weird mark was left at the scene. Years later, he's a second-year high school student who's more interested in kickboxing than anything else—kind of impulsive and outgoing, the type who lives in the moment. Everything changes one night when some strange creature bites him and sends him into a bizarre dream. The next day, he gets attacked by the same creatures for real, but two people named Jessica Clayborn and Aruto Fushibe show up and save him. They tell him he's been recruited for something bigger. Turns out there's this thing called a "knocker-up"—basically someone who can fight monsters that come from the dreamscape. Jessica pushes Ryuuhei to transform and use his kickboxing skills to protect the city. When he finally taps into his powers though, he sees that familiar mark again. The one from his brother's death. The one he's never been able to forget.
