Synopsis

In Jewel Land, magical creatures called Jewelpets live alongside witches and attend magic school to master their powers through their enchanted Jewel Eyes. Ruby, a white rabbit whose magic is unreliable, gets sent to the Human World to find a partner—though not exactly intentionally. She accidentally ends up on a beach where she meets a girl named Akari Sakura heading to school. At first they can't communicate, but after Ruby eats a special candy that lets her speak human language, the two start to bond. Ruby learns about Akari's problems and apologizes for her rocky first impression. When a Jewel Charm appears on Akari's hand, she realizes Ruby has chosen her as a partner. With their partnership sealed, Ruby convinces Akari to enter the Jewel Star Grand Prix—a competition where the winners get any wish they want granted. It's unclear whether they'll actually win it all and get their wish, or if the whole thing will just blow up in their faces.
