Sango is a yellow tabby cat with brown stripes and distinctive scarlet eyes. She typically wears a red ribbon with a white flower in her hair and a strawberry-shaped jewel necklace. In the original series, she carried a ribbon around with her.
Personality-wise, Sango's pretty easygoing and not exactly the sharpest tool in the shed. She's obsessed with sweets and desserts—though that trait didn't really show up until later in the franchise. It's basically her whole thing now.
She made her debut in the first Jewelpet series during a culture festival arc. When Lyrica Himeno couldn't keep her confidence up, her Jewel Charm appeared and Sango was awakened for the first time by Rinko and Ruby. She used her magic to transform Lyrica into a matadora, but it didn't stick. Turns out Sango's magic had run out because she couldn't reach the dark magical footprint left behind—which turned out to be literally on her own foot. Once they figured that out, Sango purified it and everything went back to normal.
In Twinkle, she and Garnet are Miria's two Jewelpet partners from the start. Before the series kicked off, she'd met them while Miria was home alone, which is what turned her into a magician.
During Sunshine, Sango teaches in the Rose class and spends most of her time hanging off her student Jill's shoulder. She's roommates with Komachi, who shares her sweet tooth. She even got a robot duplicate like Garnet did, which showed up in episode 48 when she got brainwashed by the Dark Queen. She had a brief crush on Jasper too.
In Kira Deco, she barely appears—just a quick cameo walking with Nephrite outside Ruby's shop in the first episode. Happiness gives her a more solid role as the school nurse, where she makes Magic Gems alongside Sakuran and Rosa. She was also part of the movie cast in Sweet Dance Princess, heading to Sweets Land with the crew—though unlike Gumimin, she can't turn into a monster from eating too much candy.
She mostly fades into the background in other seasons.
