Synopsis

Fresh off his victory in an underground fighting tournament, Baki Hanma is determined to get stronger so he can eventually take down his father, Yuujirou—widely considered the world's strongest man. But he barely gets a breather before Tokugawa Mitsunari, the tournament organizer, tracks him down at school with some bad news: five lethal death row inmates from across the globe have broken out of prison and are heading straight for Tokyo. All of them are martial arts killers, and they're coming because they want to experience something they never have—losing a fight. Tokugawa makes it clear that Baki, being the rising star he is, will definitely cross paths with them. And he won't be the only one in their sights. This adaptation covers the opening arc of the second Baki manga series, focusing on an escalating clash between Japan's martial arts elite and the brutal killers emerging from the criminal underworld.
