Synopsis

Nobita asks Doraemon for the Moshimo-box and wishes for magic to exist instead of science and technology. Everyone adapts to using magic in daily life—except Nobita, who's terrible at casting spells as usual. Wanting to undo his mess, he realizes his mom threw the Moshimo-box away. The group then meets Professor Mangetsu, a researcher studying magic and magical creatures like goblins, along with his daughter Miyoko. They're warned that a dangerous celestial body called the "star of the Underworld" is heading toward Earth. To save the planet, the group has to travel to the Underworld and pierce the Underworld King's heart with a silver dart, according to an ancient text called "The Chronicles of the Underworld." Things go wrong and Miyoko gets captured. Doraemon and friends use the Time Machine to go back to the past, and with Dorami's Moshimo-box, they restore Earth. But the Underworld events still happen in a parallel universe where Miyoko remains trapped. So the group has to head back to the Underworld one more time and finally defeat its ruler.
