Synopsis

Nobita and his dad buy a massive rhinoceros beetle, and Nobita swears he'll look after it properly. Things get weird when Doraemon and the gang stumble onto this bizarre island where an actual tribe lives alongside dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals that should've been extinct ages ago. Turns out a legendary beetle spirit called Golden Hercules has been keeping them all alive. Of course, the situation gets complicated when a crew of criminals from the future shows up, desperate to nab Golden Hercules and sell it for big money.
