Synopsis

Peace has settled over Ikebukuro, but the city's weirdness is now just part of daily life. The cops are constantly on Celty's tail—the Headless Rider's become enough of a problem that someone's put out a serious bounty on her, which has every gang member in town looking to cash in. Things get worse when Mikado runs into Aoba Kuronuma, a younger student with mysterious motives who casually reveals he knows exactly who Mikado really is. Just when things seem stable, a serial killer calling themselves "Hollywood" starts leaving a body count. They switch masks with every kill, making them hard to pin down. As usual for Ikebukuro, everything starts connecting back together, and the city finds itself on the brink of chaos once again.
