Synopsis

Blue Steel, a group of privateers, is racing to deliver blueprints for the Vibration Warhead Torpedo to the U.S.—a weapon that could give them a real edge in the ongoing war. But things get complicated when the Fleet of Fog throws a new obstacle in their path: "The Student Council," a squad of warships with their own humanoid avatars, the Mental Models. None of them have actually fought Blue Steel's unpredictable captain, Gunzou Chihaya, and they're about to find out why that matters. As Blue Steel digs deeper into who's really pulling the strings behind the Fleet of Fog, Iona's past comes to light. Her story explains both how this whole war started and why she chose to fight alongside humanity instead of her own kind.
