Synopsis

After all the heavy stuff that went down in Iga, Kokujou Island, Rakuyou, and their endless clashes with the Tenshouin Naraku and Tendoshuu, Gintama. Porori-hen pumps the brakes and takes things back to basics. We're talking about the Yorozuya doing what they do best—taking whatever random jobs come their way. Things get interesting when Umibouzu, this legendary space hunter, shows up in Edo and immediately loses it after learning his daughter Kagura has a boyfriend. He decides Gintoki's been a terrible guardian and makes his frustration known, but maybe it's finally time he learned to let her go. The show jumps right back into what makes Gintama great: shameless parodies, crude humor, and the kind of chemistry between Gintoki, Kagura, and Shinpachi that keeps you invested. They end up dealing with all sorts of weird situations that somehow manage to be genuinely funny one moment and surprisingly touching the next.
