Synopsis

This action-comedy riffs on the body-snatchers concept from Jack Finney's classic sci-fi novel, but throws in samba dancing for good measure. The villain is Amigo Suzuki, a biotech expert who's developed "konjaclone" technology—basically, he makes human clones out of konjac and forces them to dance samba. His master plan? Transform the city of Kasukabe into a samba world by systematically replacing residents with perfect duplicates. When people start disappearing and getting swapped out, the Nohara family and the Kasukabe Defense Forces have to figure out what's happening and get out of the city. They get help from a mysterious and attractive woman named Jacqueline Feeney, who goes by Jackie.
