Suika is a young girl from the stone age village who's best known for the massive watermelon perpetually stuck on her head—which she can actually climb inside and use as a disguise. Senku first encounters her while scouting for iron sand near a river with Chrome and Kohaku.
What makes Suika compelling is her desperation to finally be useful. She'd never really contributed to anything before meeting Senku, so when he starts building his kingdom of science, she throws herself into the work with genuine enthusiasm. She becomes the group's information gatherer, eventually earning the semi-ironic title "Ace Detective Suika" among the crew.
