Yuu
A young Japanese Spriggan operative and the main character of both the manga and OVA series.
Yuu's the classic troublemaker type—a total slacker who skips classes constantly and barely pays attention when he actually shows up. Teachers have him marked as a problem student, and his classmates assume he just hates school. Really, he's using those absences to run Spriggan missions on the down-low before graduation. There's a moment where he admits he wishes he wasn't an agent at all, though he's made peace with where he ended up.
Despite his delinquent reputation, Yuu's anything but helpless. Years of training with COSMOS and military work under ARCAM have turned him into a serious fighter—skilled in martial arts, guns, and tactical operations. He can handle himself against pretty much any threat that comes his way. The disconnect between his lazy student persona and his actual capabilities is basically his whole thing.
