Brannew is a Marine officer stationed at Marine Headquarters with a pretty straightforward job—he's the guy who assigns bounties to wanted criminals. He's best known for announcing Monkey D. Luffy's initial bounty of 30,000,000, which kicked off Luffy's journey as an officially recognized threat to the World Government.
